COACHING
The Nature of Change
When we think of making changes, many of us think of needing to transform ourselves. If only I could lose weight, stop worrying, say no, etc. then I would be satisfied and live happily ever after. In fact, changing one’s behavior is complex. Behavior patterns are learned from a variety of sources over an extended period of time. Just as negative behaviors are acquired day to day, in the same fashion, positive habits can be learned.

Why should the Tiger Woods and Anna Kournikovas of the world be the only ones to get a little coaching? Just because there’s no field or net doesn’t mean the rest of us can’t benefit from a little whistle-blowing help from the sidelines.

FACILITATION SERVICES
Facilitation is the reasoned and intentioned intervention into the ongoing events and dynamics of a group with the purpose of helping that group attain its stated end more effectively.
A facilitator is best when people barely know the facilitator exists, not so good when people obey and acclaim the facilitator, and worse when they despise the facilitator. But of a good process consultant, who talks little, when the work is done, the aim fulfilled, they will say, "we did this ourselves."
